Strike Industries - Aluminium Handguard Gridlok LITE 17" - AR-15 - Black - SI-GRIDLOK-LITE-17-BK

Handguard designed for AR15 platform carbines. It is made of a single piece of 6061-T6 aluminum, which ensures its high strength at the lowest possible weight. A special feature of this handguard is its assembly, which, after installing the barrel nut, is done in QD system, i.e. without tools. Thanks to this solution, the user can quickly disassemble the part and do the necessary work on the weapon.

The lever from the QD system itself has been modified for more ergonomic operation. Handguard allows the use of discharge devices up to 1.57" or 39.9 mm in diameter. The Gridlok LITE handguard has integrated M-LOK and Picatinny mounting systems, where the latter allows the user to mount a wide range of collimators. In an emergency situation, the user can use the built-in mechanical sight.

The barrel nut is made of high-quality 7000 series aluminum, which can be tightened to 67.79 Nm. Handguard is compatible with Mil-Spec breech chambers for M4 rifles and all Strike Industries discharge devices, including the Oppressor SI-Oppressor.

Note: Handguard is not compatible with most piston gas blocks, some side reloading levers and gas block from 11", 15" and 17" versions with A2 sights.
